Microneedling

Microneedling is commonly used to address various skin concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, and texture issues. It promotes skin rejuvenation and can improve the overall appearance and texture of the skin. Medical grade serums may be used during treatment to boost results and target skin issues. Platelet rich plasma (PRP) may also be used to boost results, speed up recovery, and address skin concerns.

To ensure this procedure is as comfortable as possible, a potent, prescription strength, lidocaine based cream known as BLT cream is applied to numb your skin. We also may use other techniques, such as vibrating tools for distraction, breathing exercises, music, and/or ice for discomfort. We go nice and slow, and are always talking you through it.

When you first arrive, we will discuss expectations and review consents/intake forms. Then, BLT numbing cream is applied to your skin for 30-45 minutes. The actual procedure takes about 20-30 minutes. You’ll receive post procedure instructions at the end of your treatment.

Microneedling treatments give the best results in a series. Each session needs to be scheduled at least 4 weeks apart to give your skin enough time to heal, recover and turn over before the next treatment. Best results can be seen in 3-6 treatment series.
